If you haven't heard from some of us lately, it's because big things are happening at Opera right now. I don't think it will come as any surprise to you that we are very excited about the upcoming beta release of Opera Mini Dimension. We are working really hard to make sure the world knows about the upcoming release, and we're calling on our most die-hard fans (that's you) to help us make the launch a real success. (More on that later)

The Mini beta launch is just one part of a huge push we want to make this summer, which we're calling The Summer of Opera. We want people to realize the joy of using Opera on their phones, on their personal computers, on their gaming consoles, etc. Traditional marketing is great, and we're doing plenty of it; we'll write about that here as much as we can so you know what we're up to. To make an even bigger impact, however, we want to work very closely with our user community, as many of you care about Opera's success just as much as we do.

All this week, I'll be sharing some of the community marketing activities we have planned that we think you'll really enjoy and want to participate in. For example, we'll be relaunching a heavily-updated version of our affiliate program featuring all new and exciting incentives to spread the word about Opera.

Expect more contests, group activities, university-related programs, and plenty of chances to be creative and show off the way Opera is part of your Web-enabled lifestyle.
