This group is for you to get together, brainstorm, plan, and complete projects to promote the Opera browser. Participation in this group is completely voluntary. If you're a fan who has been waiting for the chance to let the world know about Opera, well... we're here to support you.

We're putting an emphasis not only on brainstorming ideas, but working together to make them a reality, and give you a chance to show off your work. Most importantly, Opera employees will participate to make sure that you're getting all the resources you need (for example; if you want to host an Opera meet up and want to give out Opera freebies, let us know, so we can send you some).

Moderators

We're a team of volunteers (well, most of us are), and we're here to give you the latest news about Opera and assist best way possible. There will be a form available soon if you wish to apply as a moderator, but in the meantime feel free to contact any of us if you have any questions or comments about our products or if you wish to help out.

for every week i have to reinstall Operamini 4, WHY ? Always stuckup, could not open any browser plz reply ASAP.Can't open any website too,as im useing Nokia N70-1

Is there or isn't there a 'support Opera' link, like I've seen for big freeware exploits like KDE? Notwithstanding any contribution I could make would be trivial, how is someone supposed to say that Opera is loved and appreciated?

i am very mad at firefox on there release of firefox3 beta 2 becuz its faster n got more thing's i think they found out about kestrel cuz they stole some of its features i hope that ya update 2 cuz i wana stop using da fox

i downloaded firefox 3 beta 2 and found it superb and fast. i don't use opera as my favourite sites don't open in it.

I use opera. but for mobile, opera mini and not the desktop opera browser..... i promote opera mini and i have distributed ten thousand 963 copies of it on my web site till this moment.

Ya i love Opera mini 4. It's the browser any mobile phone should come pre installed with! coz it's fast, it's the same as surfing from a desktop, and it's MUCH cheaper to use coz it compresses the transfered data. What more need i say?

You gotta see it to believe it, so go download it now . . . . No, i mean right now!

If you're reading this you can't understand english coz i thought i told you to go download Opera mini 4!

I have solution to spread Opera widely...
i post about it in the forum http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=222899
but i think there is a nice place for it (or i'm wrong again?)

so here is a crosspost here:

Long time i use Opera and everytime i dissapoint why anyone don't use Opera... so i starting ask about that.
I ask many web proffesional who use IE or FF, so here is a main points:
- "It's look different: i want addressbar at top than tabs and than statusbar at bottom"
- "I don't want to have every tab with addressbar"
- "I dont understand how it's work, it's look different"
- "I remeber early version of Opera, many sites was broken"

So, after 1 minutes customizing by me (to mimic IE7 but with default skin), everyone say:
- "Wow, it's cool, now i can use it!"
- "Excelent, now it's look like browser"
And after i show Skins, many people say "Wow" again :)
So, than i ask, "Why YOU don't customize Opera by self?"
- "I'ts boring, i don't want a learn how to customize and i think that's impossible"
..

Please hear me and make 9.50 look like FF/IE (i mean position of addressbar, tabs and statusbar). People who use Opera long time, can customize, or have changed tolbar setup, other, who never use Opera will get browser who look like other browsers..

P.S. other goal is firebug... developer console can't beat firebug, but if it can be placed to Panel, it will be BIG plus..
P.S.S. my native is russian, so thats why my english not so good :)

You know what would be great!?

When using Opera and visiting a website with flash movies, then when you click to see a flash movie the Opera browser changes automaticly into a full screen flash movieplayer.

If possible, with play - pause - next - previous buttons!

That would be something for the future with internet tv channels comming up!

I think that one of the most important thing is to show the browser running to your friends and family
I´ve suggested the use of Opera since 3.0 version to almost 15 people and they are using it as the only browser, like me

About this community, I think is great and the design is very cool
I will continue recommending Opera and my.opera.com
