DSi Web Browser Speed Comparison

This comparison from Nplus shows the new Opera developed Web Channel on the DSi vs. the older Nintendo DS Browser that Opera developed for Nintendo some years ago. Once downloaded, it becomes a part of the main menu of the system.

The Opera browser for DSi will be a free download from the DS store.

Since DSi has twice the CPU speed (133Mhz vs. 66MHz) and four times the RAM amount (16M vs. 4M) of the old DS, so does this "speed comparison" really means anything about the browser performance, or it just shows how the DSi hardware is faster than the old DS hardware? Naturally if you run Opera 9.6 on a machine with 2GHz CPU and 1G RAM, it will be faster than when you run it on a machine with 1GHz CPU and 256M RAM, right?

also the browser engine that is used is differnt in the DSi vs the DS
