yes Looking forward to get the final version of Opera 10.50 also for Linux. I had no time to test betas and release candidates extensively, but it looks good.

And that's precisely what I'm afraid of.
--> 9.5: rushed because of FF 3 (?). 10.5: rushed because of browser ballot screen.
To quote Miss Bessy:
"They say the next big thing is here,
that the revolution's near,
but to me it seems quite clear
that it's all just a little bit of history repeating"

Oh, quit your whining. You obviously haven't got a clue about how software development works. No matter what they do, the whiny nay-sayers are going to whine "it's being rushed!"

Whine, whine, whine. Let the professional browser makers decide when it's read.

There is not need to be so rude to someone who is just stating the obvious. With 4 RCs in a day, its clear that Opera Soft is racing against time. But it is a smart move provided that the final product doesnt have any major issues.

May install 10.50 final on Windows, but my Linux Opera browser isn't working well at all and I don't know why, but will wait till Linux version is well on it's way and debugged before I try to install in in Mint 8.

Actually this is somewhat bad news and I'm personally disappointed. I've always took Opera for it's quality to detail, however with 10.5 I'm afraid things might turn out for the bad.

4 release candidates within 2 days? You must really be joking. I understand, that Opera wants to increase it's market share, but is that really the way do to it? I really don't think that everything is ready for the full release of 10.5

10.10 and 10.0 wasn't rushed and everyone saw how nice they turned out to be, now this is being rushed and I'm afraid it's going to go bad.

Maybe there are just less problems to solve on Opera 10.50 than there were on 10.10 and 10.0 wink

OT: Is there someone at Opera watching out for new submissions in wallpaper section? *g

I don't want the final release of 10.5 now, please fix the stupid bugs present in all your last RCs before! :x

Releasing an unpolished version just to be in time for "The Browser Day" can do a lot of damage to Opera's image.

On the other hand, if they can pull it off, i tip my hat at you, Opera. smile

jasssonpet Tuesday, March 2, 2010 5:03:05 AM

From pre-alpha to release candidate in such a short time bigeyes bigsmile

Cutting Spoonhellspork Tuesday, March 2, 2010 5:11:15 AM

Not "three over the weekend", OP. "Four in 24 hours"; quite a record for public releases. And fifth, or "something-th" RC has already hit? I'm just wondering if you've got a triage set up for those poor 11th-hour coders?

Feature request: gears, fire and steam shopped into the new Opera logo. "Such rapid progress is purely inconceivable!"

This is completely retarded. You whiners are always whining. When there are only 1 or 2 RCs, you are whining about "rushing". When there are more, you are whining about "rushing".

Stop whining.

Opera Voice isn't working =(
It just downloads every time I want Opera to read text, although all the libraries are on computer.
