The Choice Screen effect

Guess what folks, we've doubled the download numbers in Europe after the Choice Screen rolled out. bigeyes

We are experiencing a dramatic uptake of downloads since the Choice Screen was launched in early March. On average, more than half of our downloads from Europe is a direct result from the Choice Screen.

The following numbers are the percentages of each country downloads of Opera 10.50 that originates from the Choice Screen, as part of the total Opera 10.50 numbers for desktop.

awww, germany is still so low, maybe because there were already a lot of people who used opera before?
but over all a 130% increase is fantastic up

Very cool, but Opera up 57% in Norway? Nice to have a more leveled playing field; though I would've expected Opera to already have 95% browser share there, no? wink
