don't think they compare it to hitler rater i think they copmpare hitlers behavior (in this meme) to how the top at Google views losing to opera.

Yes. For example V8 Benchmark - I know, that this benchmark was made to show that Webkit is the fastest, but anyway, this still means that there are some areas where Webkit is faster than Carakan.

Or have you ever try to move with some Elements with box-shadow or some SVG Images in Opera and Chrome? Chrome is much faster sad

SPEED IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT! And all those tests, pure BS!
Keep browser running for hours, do random web surfing, then do the tests, if you must.
Fudge! Chrome will win, why? because tabs will crash, but browser itself wont, but even then... speed tests are effing BS.
I always tried to avoid promoting Opera as fast, but rather it being safe, user friendly and awesome out of the box browser.
Here's my speed test:
Opera 100% productivity
Chrome <70% productivity
Firefox <50% productivity
Because I kept looking for Opera options. And those %'s are not exact values, cus I avoid using other browsers.

BUT... how about fixing opera so I can actually use google calender again.. It's kind of silly to have to install a second rate browser (firefox / chrome wink) just to be able to handle my agenda.

Why would you want add-ons when Opera comes with just about everything you will ever need? bigsmile

For example, in Chrome and Firefox, mouse gestures are an addon. In Opera, it's a built-in option. happy

And Web mail.
And Unite.
And Link.
And skins.

And if that helps, we do have widgets too yes
