I have an S60 a Nokia E71, but it says it cannot find a beta version for my phone. Which variants are supported?

Have just tried downloading it with previous Opera Mobile and then installing and this works.

Have run into a quite few out "General: Memory Full..." popups, then the pages stop loading. Don't know if it is due to links now opening in a new tab.

I appreciate that it is still beta, and the speed, and page rendering have definitely improved, so I can't wait for the next version.

Keep up the great work, both on Desktop and Mobile.cheers

working fine on my e52... a little bit faster, but uses a little more memory.

Dark FurieFurie Thursday, July 15, 2010 6:57:38 PM

Definitely faster and smoother on the 5800, 6120 classic and N97 Nokia models as well as the Samsung i8910 HD. Less RAM and processor heavy too according to my tests. The 5800 (v50 firmware) has a problem with text entry where switching to upper case immediately switches back to lower case in the native text entry. A second press gets makes the function work though.

Faster and smoother, indeed. Very good.
Autorotation on 5530 works fine
But would you add an RSS reader please

On my Nokia 6790 (S60, v.3.22) the 2 & 8 keys don't work for scrolling. The cursor just disappears.
Edit: 4 is down, 6 is up. doh confused

I'll take it for a spin tomorrow. up

i am downloading the latest beta see how it goes although i love the way it works.. i do wish it handled the flash lite part too, like its windows counterpart.. if it handles that.... then theres no competition to it... smile

I am testing it on my Nokia N97 mini.
Comparatively to Opera mini 5.1, it seams more quick.
However, display of photos is quite better with Opera mini 5.1(my photos on Panoramio or Picasaweb). The activation of Oera Turbo deteriorate again dispay of photos.
For now , I prefere use Opera mini 5.1.

tomassplatch Tuesday, July 20, 2010 7:47:28 AM

links from twitter or google reader open in new tab by default, which often leads to "Low memory" notifications on my E52.

gavin hoeygeemikey Wednesday, July 21, 2010 7:25:29 PM

does anyone know why the quality of images are poorer in opera mobile than they are in opera mini...?

Daeran TwilldrakeThero Wednesday, July 21, 2010 7:59:24 PM

Caroloperainchicago Wednesday, July 21, 2010 10:19:54 PM

i have had problems with 10.1 beta shutting off the phone and mouse pointer acting slow or freezing. I deleted it from my N95 8gb. btw, I love OM 10 and mini 5

gerardo olivaressundaygera Thursday, July 22, 2010 8:08:57 AM

I have already installed it in my 5800 it works really good but i wish I would see pages in full mode like facebook because it goes everytime to the page in mobile mode when the mobile mode is off that's the only detail to improve.

There's nothing Opera can do about that. It's Facebook that sends Opera to the mobile site. Complain to them.

Caroloperainchicago Thursday, July 22, 2010 3:27:58 PM

i reinstalled to phone memory today. maybe that will help

edwardlc Wednesday, July 28, 2010 8:39:23 AM

the browser is unable to connect to the web after a certain idle period in the background
restarting the browser will solve the problem
im using HSDPA connection,se satio

btw, will opera optimize its performance on mobi device with fast cpu? The default browser is a bit faster than opera even the web page comes with flash.

Thanks

edwardlc Thursday, July 29, 2010 1:46:22 PM
