Opera Mobile 10.1 beta for Symbian S60 phones is out now. With new features such as accelerated speed and geolocation capabilities. The Opera Mobile 10.1 beta also contains the latest version of the powerful Presto rendering engine, Vega graphics library and our very own Carakan JavaScript engine.
In addition to the new engines and geolocation, this beta also has updated kinetic scrolling, virtual keyboard and auto-rotation to landscape making your browsing experience effortless!
As always you have the great Opera desktop features, such as Speed Dial, Opera Turbo, password manager, Opera Link and tabbed browsing.
So, if you have a S60 phone and want to try Opera Mobile 10.1 beta, go to m.opera.com/next/.

Have just tried downloading it with previous Opera Mobile and then installing and this works.
Have run into a quite few out "General: Memory Full..." popups, then the pages stop loading. Don't know if it is due to links now opening in a new tab.
I appreciate that it is still beta, and the speed, and page rendering have definitely improved, so I can't wait for the next version.
Keep up the great work, both on Desktop and Mobile.

Comparatively to Opera mini 5.1, it seams more quick.
However, display of photos is quite better with Opera mini 5.1(my photos on Panoramio or Picasaweb). The activation of Oera Turbo deteriorate again dispay of photos.
For now , I prefere use Opera mini 5.1.

There's nothing Opera can do about that. It's Facebook that sends Opera to the mobile site. Complain to them.
