Been using it for a few years now, even when running from a flash drive Opera is still faster, than IE on the machines

There's also the version on www.liberkey.com which I use all the time on my different computers. Furthermore I sync all this computers with Dropbox, like that I have all settings, mail, contentblocker, open tabs, ... of opera the same on all computers. cool

Hey! Opera is new on that website, last month I searched for it in the Internet category but there was only Firefox, Chrome and Seamonkey. Good they added Opera. smile

Instead of Opera@USB or PortableApps, I would recommend LiberKey suite. I has excellent online instalator, handy automatic updates and apps may be freely copied. What's more. LK has feature of tamporal association files with it's portable apps. smile

Cutting Spoonhellspork Friday, October 8, 2010 11:49:23 PM

I'll need to check out LiberKey, but I am happy that there is finally an Opera configured to run within PortableApps. (Especially since U3 is unfortunately pretty much dead as a technology)

this zip file causes fire wall to activate, any Opera version may be dragged to any device, y bother with zip file with unknown contents that make firewall go crazy?

could be some policy with the firewall and zip files

National Voice Gazettejavamanmonk Monday, October 18, 2010 4:11:50 PM

maybe so, I run firewall in paranoid mode, it lite like a christmas tree, still no real need to zip opera, small footprint to begin with. Years ago, zips made sense for speed on dial up.

James BondFOOKUG Sunday, October 24, 2010 8:14:08 AM

my only complaint is that it will not work compatabily as I build web sites and opera states

Not supported

Internet Explorer 5.5 is not supported anymore. Please upgrade to a higher version.

and I deleted internet explorer because It sucks...
but then again google chrome says the same thing opera still #1 though:confused: confused confused

Cutting Spoonhellspork Sunday, October 24, 2010 7:20:25 PM

Makes no sense. Check your site preferences for the page, Opera may work if set to pretend Firefox.
