Vote Opera

Last year, we completely dominated the About.com Readers' Choice Awards with a triple grand slam in the best desktop browser and best mobile browser categories. We could not have done this without your help, so our question to you is: Wanna do it again? wink

The 2011 Readers' Choice Awards kicked off last week, and this time we rise as finalists in four different categories. The most exciting thing one is the Best Browser theme category. Our very own community member Z1-AV69 is nominated as a finalist for his awesome Z-1 Glass theme! We know many of you have enjoyed his work, so it would totally rock if we helped him win, right? headbang

I am a Chinese, I using UC Browser and Opera Mini on my Nokia 6120c classic.By comparing UC Browser and Opera Mini, I found UC Browser better.

On the other hand, I feel Opera Mini is better than UC Browser for touch screen mobile phone. You know Opera Mini on Nokia 6120 classic can not plays its strengths, but it is perfect on the Touch. As you know, Touch is not widespread in China. So Chinese people vote UC Browser is reasonable.

I think the result could be manipulated by Google. 72% in few hours is a bit weird. This is my point of view but maybe i'm right. The marketing strategy of Google is as agressive as Microsoft was in the past. The "faked" voting could be another step to own more market share for Google Chrome.

Whatever...we all know what's the best web browser in the world. We're all focused on BARRACUDA. cheers

Probably just a staff email went across the Google distribution list. If you have several tens of thousands of employees, some of them will probably vote.

I am very intrigued by this crazy thing with UC browser, though Opera's OEM deals in China could batter that program back into the corner by the start of next year.

Unchallenged on iOS and Windows Email.....
