Top Five Extensions

, ,

Our love for Reddit is no secret, and /r/operabrowser/ is of course one of our favorites. Kidblast lists his six favorite extensions (yes, we know the title should be six not five), and want to know our top five. I took a quick walk around the office and got some top five lists.

  1. Gmail On Speed Dial - Easy access and fast notifications of incoming mail.
  2. Linkify - Creates HTML links from plain text URL's and e-mail addresses.
  3. Meme Smileys - Finally, Facebook and Twitter makes sense.
  4. Open In Background With Long Press - Amazing for surfing Reddit on your laptop.
  5. Translate - Useful when I stumble into Russian websites.

  1. Popup Statusbar - No more Status Bar!
  2. Make It So - Animations and fun with images.
  3. Reddit on Speed Dial - My Reddit Speed Dial.
  4. Facebook Preview - Saves me useless stops to Facebook.
  5. AutoPatchWork - Makes browsing faster and smarter.

  1. Live News Feed - Love to stay on my favorite blogs and news from Latin America.
  2. Translate - Super useful when living abroad, need help with Norwegian p
  3. The Weather - Totally important to know what to wear.
  4. WebAdictos Extension - Awsome blog about tech and gadgets news.
  5. Facebook Preview - To track if there is any news.

  1. FaceBabel - Translates my friends' statuses with just one click!
  2. Facebook autoload older posts - I found "Older posts" are so annoying.
  3. Twitter Inline Images - Shows images directly in the Twitter feed. So much simpler.
  4. Word of the Day - It's never too late to stop learning!
  5. Quote of the Day - My daily dose of inspiration!

  1. Klout - Injects my Twitter feed (and Opera's Opera on Twitter ) with Klout values, for my eyes only!
  2. Klout Speed Dial - Now Klout's speed dial is my score. Brilliance only Opera can offer.
  3. Edit the Page - Let's me turn any site into news about my fantastic abdominals. A must.
  4. Facebook Preview - Because I don't want to have Facebook open any more than I have to...
  5. Narwhal Translator - My own extension, coming terrifyingly soon! It's Serious Business.

I find it funny that Opera does not display Opera's news feed properly.

Imagus is really stunning, I'm amazed how it's not on the list of anyone of you, Opera guys (and gals).
Besides it, I only use Snap Links, Google Images Direct and Textarea Backup Localstorage for now.

Why I see only 15 comments if it says "31 comments" on the front page? What's wrong??

Obese MauriceObeseMaurice Thursday, September 1, 2011 4:31:52 PM

Still 15, I don't get it.
