Speed Dial Laundry Day

,

Time to shed that dirty old Speed Dial background and try on a fresh pair of Speed Dial backgrounds (or desktop wallpapers). We plowed through wallbase for good stuff. A small selection of goodies found presents itself below. Find anything you want to share, too?

The wood one looks fantastic! I'm using it now.

This was my previous speed dial background, I may or may not go back to it, we'll see how the wood one works out.

The original image for my last speed dial background is here.

Which Distro are you using, that's if you are using one?

I've been using Ubuntu 10.10. I was hesitant to update to 11.04, due to my dislike of Unity. (Granted, there are ways around it... I should probably look more into it.)

I plan on switching very soon, possibly to Mint. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time and motivation to switch lately.

Using Elegant Human for Gnome 2.

My Opera theme, is a personal customization to make it look better for the theme. I'd actually consider finishing it and uploading the skin, but it's quite a lot of work for something that I was really only intending for personal use.

Updated the links to working versions now. Since these images are hosted wallbase.cc we do not control the links, so the owner of the image may delete or move it. Please let us know if you find any more broken links.

Really nice! Thank you!
Do you, just by chance, know if these are anyhow GNU / PublicDomain, etc?

Patrick O'Reillypaddy2k Wednesday, September 21, 2011 10:48:51 AM

I've changed my Speeddial backgroud to be the same as my desktop background. It makes it look see through on Ubuntu, as the default distro background works very well.

in ubuntu 11.04 you can switch to the classic ubuntu in the log in screen so it becomes default.
