All the news
Ice Cream Sandwhich

This week's tech headlines were hard to hear above the sound of legions of people drooling over new Android tastiness, most prominently the latest Android OS, version 4.0, code name Ice Cream Sandwich, featuring nifty features like "face unlock" (hmmm... remind anybody of face-gesture browsing?) along with the debut of some new Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

iPhone 4 Siri

Meanwhile, 4 million people decided that they actually couldn't wait for the iPhone 5 and bought the iPhone 4S instead, perhaps intrigued by the conversational possibilities introduced by the device's voice-based personal assistant, Siri. Does this mean we'll start to see people actually talking on their phones again? Sorry, make that talking to their phones.

DuckDuckGo

Here at Opera we opened up a big can of new releases. This latest update also includes the addition of an alternative search engine called Duck Duck Go. Can you get any more user-friendly than a duck wearing a red bow tie? I think not... Make sure you also check out a whole new way to read on the Web.

Oriondroid

Finally, a Friday bonus for you stargazers out there... the Orionids are going to put on a nice show this weekend, so set your alarm clock accordingly... or just stay out late, and don't go to bed!

Have a great weekend, everyone! cheers

Nokia released a voice recognition and voice operate application called "Vlango" 2 months ago. Face detection will be available by an application soon. Worlds first in Car Mode app. is also created by Nokia. Nokia is fool cause they can't inform people what they give to them. When people know it by themselves, then it's an old technology. See 6 months old Nokia N9 there-

Indeed, the guy is a rabid idiot. Clearly ignoring that Apple steal stuff too. They stole notifications from Android for iOS5, they stole voice control too, who wants to bet they will steal widgets for iOS6 and the idiot iPhone owners will think it's revolutionary.

Awesome info on the iOS5. Siri is pretty cool and I'm looking forward to where that type of technology can go in the future.
