Opera 11.61

Opera released Opera 11.61 today. This security update addresses and solves a few security issues. It should also improve stability. There is also an update to the default Speed Dials, allowing better local content. This Speed Dial content update only affects unaltered default Speed Dials.

Opera is as always free and available to download directly from www.opera.com!

This is not true. It never was true. But maybe because I'm updating USB install? Idk, anyway - try to fix it, I always have to remove these new items

Opera is the fastest browser also with the low memory RAM.
But only the problem I had when I open facebook and when I want to logout
It not shows logout options tab and my pages tab like chrome it shows jumbled.

Argh, but now the tab min/restore/close button group has become invisible (on right side of menu bar, when preferences are set to use NO close-button on tab). The button group is apparently still there and clickable, but the buttons cannot be seen no matter what theme I try...

Other than that, the update looks good. Always glad to see improvements! Thanks.

I use Private Tabs option when visiting Facebook. Right-click an empty part of the tab bar, "New Private Tab". Browser forgets everything that happens in Private Tabs.

"Ctrl-F12->Advanced->Content" Check what is listed in Site Preferences and Blocked Content. Respond to me via PM. Optionally, https://bugs.opera.com/wizard/ but we should determine what went wrong first.

Fortunately, I have enough practice now with the new Speeddial that after an upgrade and even before launching, I know how to make the Speeddial do what I want to do. It's almost as useful as the Speeddial used to be before they introduced Speeddial 2.

Reaching bookmarks through the address bar is still terrible - the bookmarks should be on the top of the list, not on the bottom!

How do I remove history search results from the address bar??? They are annoying, unwanted and useless to me, I don't want them!!!

I am unable to run "veetle" on opera.
I have installed veetle software successfully.
It runs on Internet Explorer 8 and also runs on firefox and chrome but it does not run on "Opera Browser"

I see that it labels itself as a plugin. But I wonder what technology it uses. If it uses the standard netscape-style plugins Opera may work. If it uses Activex and/or a Firefox extension, there may not be a version that works in Opera. Check your "about:plugins" info in Chrome or Firefox. If Veetle is not listed as a plugin, it is instead an extension.

If Veetle is listed as a plugin, check "opera:plugins" to see if the plugin folder is listed there. You can add the plugin folder to Opera and try again.
