New Opera Mini and Opera Mobile available

What's better than 9 Speed Dials? Unlimited Speed Dials. That's one of many new features released in today's update to Opera Mini and Opera Mobile.

For Android we have a product update and a new product release. Launching in its final version today, Opera Mobile 12 will bring more goodies to owners of Android and Symbian smartphones. In the goodie bag for Opera Mobile 12, you'll find:

WebGL on Android phones, for all things 3D and web. With WebGL on mobile, it'll be even easier to make games cross platform and to distribute them.
Ragnarök, Opera's HTML5 parser support, meaning better web apps and increased compatibility with websites. More HTML5 means more advanced web functionality.
Support for camera use in the browser.
More possibilities for customizing the Speed Dial of Opera Mobile, including entering as many Speed Dial entries as you like.

Yes it can be reset... just clear your history. In fact, since I always clear history before exiting the browser, nothing appears there (it is always blank for me).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I found a great feature was added to Opera Mini Next that wasn't mentioned in the changelog:

-Opera Mini Next saves and restores last session when user exits or when the browser crashes and the phone shuts down/restarts.

What do you say guys?

Ummm.... not present on Opera Mini Next java version (and yes I use Opera Mini Next, and I hope to stay on the "Next" branch.

Why does BlackBerry opera support HTML5, I mean don't you think we need that too common stop fooling are you turning your back on BlackBerry this is so unfair I love opera next but I need HTML5.

the new opera 12 isnt working well in my nokia e72.
1) few sites dont open on the first hit. I get network disconnection page.
2) once i complete editing in any box, i get the ''Go'' option, other than ''Done'' option as in previous 11.5. Due to this, once i enter my email id in my facebook, the page automatically goes for login without me entering password. Due to this i get wrong username password dialogue. I hope you guys fix this asap. Its really annoying.

sound interesting and it is awosome and good loking browser i ever seen. super functionality. i love it.
i want to see following in final version-
1. more download speed
2. on home screen social network,more than two feed.

I keen to know, when will final version relese?
does it name opera mini 7 or opera mini next?

I'm afraid I have to make a correction.

In my recent post here, and I quote:

The feature IS ACTUALLY mentioned in a post by ManneS. It's called SESSION RESTORE:

I apologize if I may caused confusion to other users.

On the other hand, the feature is mentioned for Opera Mini Next for Symbian/s60. I'm not sure if this is also the case to other versions.

After investigating the issue with urlfilter :
if include and exclude is defined in the urlfilter.ini file, all url are blocked (even opera:config).
If only one or the other is defined : no url is blocked, even the one in the exclude section.

Interesting - so the content blocker either blocks everything or nothing. The content blocking feature has been present in Opera for ages, I wonder what's broken it now all of a sudden? Many of us have been fine-tuning our browsing experience over the years, editing the urlfilter.ini file. Hope to get back to using it soon!

A meet one of the Opera Developer Relations and Tools team in a conference, and he said that they were trying to change the syntax of the file. He also recommend me to make a bug report.

there is a BUG on opera mini next for symbian s60. I use nokia e72. I cant copy text on web pages. The copy bar it's invisible. Just sometimes it works.

but opera next's text coping is still weak than ucweb. If this problem fixed it can be better.
