Opera Mini lands in the BlackBerry App World

, ,

BlackberryThe BlackBerry. Used by celebrities and professionals around the world.

Opera Mini has now added another stamp to its passport and cleared BlackBerry customs by arriving in the BlackBerry App World.

Although just landing this week in the easily accessible BlackBerry App World, Opera Mini, is big on the Berry. By downloading it manually from m.opera.com, BlackBerry users have been saving data and money on their BlackBerries for years. Now, it's even easier to download via App World.

Opera Mini's zoom functionality is great for easy reading and interaction with content on websites. You might also find great use of hot keys that makes page-up and page-down viewing much faster.

BlackBerry App World is available in more than 100 countries.

It's about time. I thought new accounts can upload 10 version numbers for free, so why haven't Opera Mini uploaded theirs? Good thing it's there now.

Couldn't you use a pic of Cote de Pablo as Ziva David with her Blackberry? I will need hours to recover from David Haselhoff...

What about for the Blackberry Playbook?

Joshua PhelpsJoshuaPhelps Sunday, March 11, 2012 4:15:34 AM

Tell them to port their Android app to the PlayBook using RIM's conversion tool. Repackage into bar, submit into App World, done.

Right?

CrackBerry said porting Android apps using the tools provided by RIM should make it easy.
