Help Us with a Data Storage Problem

All of you Opera Mini and Opera Turbo fans out there know that one of the best features of Opera is data savings. The way we make Opera load web pages so fast is by compressing the actual data contained in a web page by up to 90%.

We introduced the data compression technology to our browsers back in 2006, and since then we've shaved off billions and billions of unnecessary data bytes. This surplus data, of course, has to be stored somewhere. The potentiokinetic data is quickly flooding our data centers. Potentiokinetic data comes from a corollary to the first law of thermodynamics: no information bits can be created or deleted, just transferred to another storage solution.

Our servers are getting full these days. Can you help us store some of the data?

First we tried to solve this problem ourselves. We tried offloading the excess data onto secondary storage materials, using everything from external hard disks to CD-ROMs. But this solution just created problems of its own. As you can see, all of our workstations here in Oslo have become extremely cluttered as a result.

This is becoming such a problem that we have decided to turn to you for help. Today we are issuing a public appeal for all of you in the Opera community to take some of the data load off our hands. You can sign up here to receive a small portion of this data - which has been encrypted - to store locally, on your computer or some other device. Remember, every little bit - and byte - helps!

in practically the University Stanford already do sort of this. by send a pieces of synthesis (POS) to any volunteer to crunchy the data using own GPU. and that data sent backs to what it is belong.

Sadly enough, it is partly true. Because opera mini is slowing down. Its a joke ofcourse (tagged what day is it today) But do you remember last years joke? That's no joke anymore: no more member of the week.

I would rather have been fooled about a bluetooth edition of opera mini. To use other one s data connection? Or just to communicate with other opera mini users in the neighbourhood. Was looking for a joke, so its ok but I would want I *could* find the data I found/sent to a deleted account.
