We're updating our outdated Opera office sign with something new. For this process, we'd like to get your creative input. Take a look at our sign below and let us know if you have any ideas for a new design (download picture for editing). We'll put the best idea into production! up

Just change the spelling of OPERA in the old one to POERA (or OPREA) and tell people it has already been paid for and there's nothing you can do about it.

Forget the dinosaur. It's too agressive, too much for nothing and it dilutes the recognition of the brand. Keep it simple and easily identifiable. Just the word OPERA written vertically, and in red of course, on the same white background as the old look. Or the big O at the top and the word OPERA under it, without the three O under, and spaced accordingly. Or the big O under the word OPERA.
Keep it simple. Keep it instantly recognizable.

This is on the right track! --> A recognisable logo. --> A bokeh photo - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh --> A slogan or buzzwords; maybe. Bad brand/product impression. The new looks random. No idea what the connection with Opera is (Mozilla?). Why not use the great animals used in the latest Opera versions (Kestrel, Barracuda etc) and do a series of posters you can cycle inhouse and elsewhere? I love sci-fi and am not sure an Iron Man like character would work, as Opera feels more like a smooth classy agent, like James Bond. My two pennies.

blue and red is not very happy , painted in shaded tones of red to the white seems better ...but it's just my opinion

a slightly different design.
a phrase used for people who experienced the dinosaur.
at moments of this logo, you're ambitious in this area.
You can add items a few sympathetic.
