'Tis the Day to Parlay

,

Ahoy, mateys! It be the day for l'arnin' how to parlay properly! 'Tis a holiday for communicatin' like a corsair, boastin' like a buccaneer - in landlubbin' words, talkin' like a pirate!

Yarrrr!!! Hoist the sails, pump the bilge, and shiver all the timbers! That indeed is a hearty barrel o' fun - but we are not leavin' it at that, not by a long stretch o' rope! We have a challenge for all o' ye scurvy privateers:

Swashbuckle starboard to the lofty banner of our dear jollyboat and see how many different items o' pirate life ye can spy! Parlay that to us in the comments there below decks - and don't be forgettin' to signal us with yer own pirate name.

Fair winds!

A "Three Sheets To The Wind!" true pirate needs a sword, a hat, an eyepatch, pirate blitheringly jolly roger (a T-shirt will do) an' o' course a treasure t' hide. Bottle "Walk Yon Plank An Be Quick About It!" o' rum an' a steady yacht also makes th' job easier. But do avoid gett'n a lustily wooden leg an' hand replaced wi' a hook.

I be Lead Pirate Leevi (rhymes with Dread) and I go Plumbum at me enemies with m' trusty flintlock pistols.

With m' fingers and hook I can count up to six, and that would be just enough, but calling the wench an item would be demeaning. So there be only five of 'em!

Ahoy, matey! Captain Bad-Rum Skyler here. I've spotted yer cutlass, an eye patch on the fair lady, a fancy headwear, good olde Jolly Roger on the lad's chest, and a chest chock-full of booty for a true pirate's heart. Shiver me timbers, arrghh! pirate
