Ever wonder if anyone's listening to you? Or, do you generate content that you know others could benefit from, but you want to improve your engagement and audience or track your influence? Just like statistics? Klout is a web service that helps to measure your influence across several popular services that you can link your My Opera account to like Twitter and Facebook (see Social networks in your account settings) for maximum sharing.
Clean, Integrated Style
My Opera members Dustin Wilson and Jeff King worked with Klout to create two beautiful extensions for Opera that utilize Klout's metrics nicely.
First is a new Klout Speed Dial further enhanced by Opera 11.50's Speed Dial Extensions with a snapshot of your score when you crack open a new tab. A subtle reminder to share something cool, or to stop whining about your chores (be more interesting!).
The second extension, Klout, shown below gives you a tiny indicator of the current influence scores of those you follow in your Twitter stream and an easy link to their Klout summary. It works with retweets, too.
See those little scores in there? They even adjust to always look sharp for your view preferences, a nice touch. So link your My Opera account to Facebook and Twitter, get the new Facebook and Twitter Speed Dials and get measuring with Klout Extensions for Opera - all beautiful tricks for smarter browsing.

Facebook Preview provides instant notifications every time you open your Speed Dial! No more refreshing Facebook every minute, just browse and your Speed Dial will notify you when it's time to check Facebook. Thanks to Milan Korenica for this awesome extension!
We love all the nifty Facebook features, except perhaps for the new Facebook Chat. Facebook Chat Sidebar Disabler works exactly as advertised. Install, get the old Facebook chat, profit. Much love to Vittgam for this gem!

The Team Up challenge united developers with ideas to create the very best extensions for Opera. In the previous highlight we saw some amazing Speed Dial extensions, such as Forum Updates Speed Dial and BBC News Speeddial Ticker.
Our $1000 grand prize goes to an extension we instantly fell in love with. It improves the Speed Dial experience by adding that little extra.
Jon Packer or @jdpacker loves Opera and Twitter, the result is a fantastic speed dial extension called Timeline. This wonderful extensions connects Twitter with your Speed Dial. All you need to do is login once, get your token and let the magic happen!
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Team Up challenge. Keep your eyes out for more competitions in the future, and don't forget to share some love in the comments!

Oupeng or '欧朋’, means friends from Europe, and it's the latest mobile browser in China. As a dedicated Opera user you might recognize that it looks a lot like Opera Mini, and you are correct sir/madam! Oupeng is based on Opera Mini, but comes with certain modifications for the Chinese market.
Launched as a joint venture between Opera and Telling Telecom Oupeng features improvements for Chinese users, in addition to the blazing speed of Opera Mini. Oupeng also includes a Weibo client, Weibo being a Chinese hybrid between Facebook and Twitter.
For more information check out the ODIN blog or the Oupeng site!
Oh, we also gave Oupeng users 63 Speed Dials. Oupeng users love speed dials.
