Now you can bring photos from your Instagram account to straight to your Opera Speed Dial with the Speedie Gram extension for Opera from paddy2k.
You can choose from a stream of photos from accounts you follow, search for a hashtag, find photos from a specific location or just view Instagram's most popular photos.
We think this is a really cool extension by paddy2k, and we hope you will like it too!

Instagram is a free photo-sharing program and social network that was launched in October 2010. The service enables users to take a photo, apply a digital filter to it, and then share it with other Instagram users they are connected to on the social network as well as on a variety of social networking services.
If you are an Instagram user, then simply search for operabrowser and follow us! We share picture of fun happenings in the office, new gadgets and devices, cool Opera products, people and maybe even what's for lunch.
Our picture today is of this brand new Opera fusion-powered personal booster cell (a.k.a. a solar-powered backup battery to charge your mobile phone on the go!):

Given how popular extensions in our browser for computers have become over the last year, some of our developers decided to work on extensions for mobile devices too. Now they are ready to share their efforts with a wider audience, with the release of the Opera Mobile Labs Extension build. For now this is just a trial, so we can't promise that the stable version of Opera Mobile will get extensions anytime soon. But it is an exciting preview of what might be possible in the future.
Otherwise, the big news out on other parts of the web this week was the release of Instagram for Android. Previously limited to iPhones, the super-popular photo editing and sharing app is now available for mobile phones (but not tablets) running Froyo or higher. You can get it for yourself right now.
Speaking of web phenomenons (should we say, phenomena?),we were interested to learn that, far from being "over," in any meaningful sense of the word, Angry Birds is only expanding its pop-culture footprint. The hugely popular game will now become a weekly animated series - which will, we expect, be available on all sorts of mobile devices and possibly even TV. As for the Angry Birds movie, that seems to still be a few years away.
In other words, Don't be angry - be happy!
Have a great weekend, everyone...
