Opera goes to eleven
By Aleksander AasAleksander. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 7:00:00 AM
Opera 11 beta is now available for download from www.opera.com/browser/next/. The beta is loaded with new features. Some are new, while others are improvements to existing Opera features like tabs and mouse gestures.
Stack it like it's hot
We introduced tabs in Opera 1.0 back in 1995 (omg, long time ago) and we've continued to add new revolutionary things ever since. Visual tabs was just another step leading up to tab stacking. To try Tab stacking, simply install the beta and drag one tab over another. Release with your mouse. This will create your very own tab stack. Check out our tutorial video to learn more.
Visual Mouse Gestures
Mouse Gestures is an addictive feature in Opera. With Opera 11, we've made it even easier to get started. Hold down the right mouse button and you get a visual feedback what you can do with mouse gestures.
Extend your Opera
Introduced in the alpha version of Opera 11, extensions allow you to customize Opera like never before. You can add additional feature to your Opera experience. We have now more than 160 extensions available in our extensions catalog. For more information about extensions and features in Opera 11 beta check out the new Opera Add-ons Blog!

Just one problem and one suggestion:
After stacking tabs, "Cycle in tab bar order" becomes not so much in tab bar order.
Also, whole stacks can be moved together if they're collapsed, but not if they're expanded. The expander arrow might work as a drag handle for the whole stack.

Yep. The installer should do this by default and it will run with a separate profile. If the installer says something about upgrading a previous installation, just go into the options and change the install directory.

I've found a site that didn't work in opera-10 (endomondo.com (the maps part)) which works in 11 !
Alas I also found that hyves.nl stopped working in opera-11 (let's hope it'll be resolved in the final release)

When using Amazon Manage your Kindle the manage page loads but the sections within that page do not load all I get is "Loading Please Wait"
If I change the Browser Identification to Mask as Internet Explorer the page load with it is sub sections, however, the Shortcuts on this page and the Delivery status boxes on the right side do not fit correctly.
Please try this and you will see what I am referring to.

I just extracted the content of the executable with "universal extractor" and ran the contained opera-executable. No need to install the application at all
