Good news, everyone! Today we have released the latest version of Opera Mini 4.2. Since the launch of the beta, speed trials have shown that this version gives more than 30% speed improvements for users in the US, due to addition of a new Opera Mini server park in ther United States.

This release also marks Opera Mini’s official availability on the latest version of the Android mobile platform. Opera Mini is now the first Web browser alternative on Android. A technical preview of Opera Mini was previously released for an earlier version of Android in April 2008. Users of Android-powered mobile phones, such as the T-Mobile G1, can now download a beta version of Opera Mini 4.2 and experience a faster and less costly way to browse the full Internet.

An e-card is an electronic post card. These new Opera Mini comics demonstrates a few "real life" scenarios where Opera Mini comes in handy. Sending an e-card from My Opera is very easy. Opera Mini 4.2 ROX :-), but [!!] session of GPRS connection is ended after website is loaded. I pay for every newly-started GPRS session.

La verdad me ha parecido bien pero a mi me gustaria que Opera mini tubiera la posiblidad de establcer una conexion de internet a traves de bluetooth.

osea que Opera mini pueda trabajar con un programita proxi que se instale en nuestra computadora y que desde ella le llegue el internet de nuestra pc al celular usando en nuestro celular opera mini.

eso sera bueno pues estoy como loco busando un programa que haga eso en un lg viewty, ya que en celulares sony ericsson si se hacer empleando Proxy Conextion y Explorer anbos de sony ericsson

Creo que lo único que le falta a opera Mini es que incorpore flash en su última versión.
Será en que en su seguiente versión sí incorporarán flash para opera mini?

Instalé Opera mini 4.2 en una TX de Palm y veo que cuando intento entrar a un sitio tipeando www....... se vuelve a la pantalla de inicio de la Palm y a veces se restaura.

Tengo instalado la maquina de java pero no se cual es el error.

Opera Mini 4.2 is better than 4.1. It is very useful programm. THANK OPERASOFTWARE FOR THIS UNUSIAL PRODUCT.
But neither 4.1 nor 4.2 support MS Word (*. doc, *.rtf) files. I want to propose interesting idea. Google has mechanism for watching this files on web!

For example, dial something in Google. And find [DOC]. There will be link "in HTML". Excuseme for write in Spanish. I had said that it will be very importante to make an exe to install Opera Mini and all software necesary to run it, directly.

I have a Palm Tx and have problems to run because when I tap go to a direction of a site, the machine shut down.

Is some body can me help me.

Hola yo tengo instalado el 4.2 en mi nokia 6265 pero no he podido abrir ningún video no se que tengo que hacer o configurar para verlos y de lo demás está muy padre sí abre las páginas más rápido que con el 4.1 y no se sí le pueda instalar otra versión alguien me puede ayudar???

Amigo yo tampoco puedo abrir los videos con el Opera Mini en mi Samsung Black Jack pero eso lo soluciono usando el Skyfire que es otro navegador..

New opera4.2 is nice, impressive skin changer, good synchronization, but the only new Drawback is that it ends the GPRS for many time and this need to reconnecting for the new session & it takes long time, that is not Good. In Opera 4.1 this type of problem is not occurs. This is the only thing i don't like about opera 4.2.

Plz...Opera Developers debug this Problem......plz

Otherwise Opera 4.2 is ROCK!!!!!!!!!
