We need your help once again; SXSW is approaching. Don't know what SXSW is? It's an incredible feast of sight, sound and software (in Opera's case) held in Austin, TX.
We need your help once again; SXSW is approaching. Don't know what SXSW is? It's an incredible feast of sight, sound and software (in Opera's case) held in Austin, TX. We exhibited at our first SXSW in March. In keeping with Opera tradition, we made a few waves. We gave away his 'n' her Opera Mini underwear, randomly bought 400 beers for BarCamp Austin, had a pack of people decked in Opera finery crowd our booth for the Nintendo Wii giveaway.
So that's the lower limit for what we're doing at SXSW 2008.
But first, we need to cement our place in the panels and talks. We've submitted Tatsuki, our consumer products EVP and Håkon, our CTO, to give talks. But SXSW is very democratic. They've opened the voting to anyone willing to register. What we'd like you to do is hop on over to the panel picker and place your vote for the company you know will rock SXSW harder than anyone else. And I'm not talking about Microsoft.
That's the first step. But any rogue, rakish ideas for Opera's involvement at SXSW can be posted on this blog. We'd love to hear what you think.
