Opera Mini does the robot on Google's Android

Phillip Grønvold from Opera Software at digi.no

Last week, Opera's hybrid Norwegian/American Phillip (Grønvold) travelled from Silicon Valley to Oslo to show off the T-Mobile G1 Android device with Opera Mini. That caught the attention of Anders Brenna, the editor at Digi.no, a leading IT news outlet in Norway. Check out Phillip's demo of Opera Mini on the Android. You'll see a lightning fast and user-friendly competitor to the other browser on the Android platform.

You also might notice that we've updated the design and funtionality of Choose Opera a bit. It's now conventiently placed under "Opera", which hopefully will make more people aware of it.

@Chas4

"JJJRED1987 try looking here: http://portal.opera.com/discover/ é

When I click 'learn more' on that page, nothing happens except the URL that changes into for example http://portal.opera.com/discover/?feature=quickfind. Something wrong on the page?

Charles SchlossChas4 Wednesday, December 3, 2008 7:57:18 PM

@Chas4: thanks mate, it seems to be fixed now.

Actually I don't need those introduction pages anymore, I'm an opera addict for years now wink But still, I often discover a new feature.

Charles SchlossChas4 Wednesday, December 3, 2008 8:19:05 PM
