How to fix your Facebook log in problems
By Aleksander AasAleksander. Thursday, March 18, 2010 3:39:40 PM
Since the release of Opera 10.50 there has been reports that logging in to Facebook does not work. It should work as normal in Opera 10.50, as long as you reset your Facebook cookies if you were upgrading from a previous Opera installation. To do so, follow these simple instructions:
- Click on the O menu - Settings - Preferences.
- Click the Advanced Tab.
- Select Cookies - Manage Cookies.
- Search for any "Facebook" cookie(s) and delete them.
- Load www.facebook.com and log in.
- Success! You should now be logged in as normal.
If you are experiencing any other Facebook issues, please let us know as a comment.

This problem occurred for me after a clean install. I uninstalled my previous version of Opera and then manually deleted the profile folders in AppData before installing 10.50.

So, If You're in contact with Facebook, can You ask them why tagging (with @ and showing Friends list) is no supported in Opera? It's the only NOT supported browser! (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari do!). I refuse to use other browser than Opera and I will not tag @ until Opera is supported

Deleting cookies worked fine for me.
I recently updated the urlfilter.ini, replacing it with Fanboy's Adblocking list.
Explains it very well.
We don't want work arounds (at least, not me). Find a permanent solution and get the next version out.
I love Opera since 10.50, and now I hate it!!

It works sporadically, but all of a sudden, it logs me out and then it's back into endless loops. Bloody annoying, cmon Opera Devs and get your act together.
