Edit: I give up. I started by making a thread on RLLMUK before this competition was announced. Once I knew about the competition I created a Facebook Event to highlight that Opera 9.5 was available to download. Whilst one person messaged me saying they'd download it, and three people accepted the invite / downloaded Opera, the majority of people hated the spammy nature of Facebook's event invite.

This is to make sure everyone starts from scratchs and has an equal opportunity to win one of the three great prizes. An Opera representative will review both number of members, but also the group itself (theme, day created, messaging, etc.). In cases where it's difficult for you to show us how many users have joined, either send an email to: erich[at]opera.com or contact me via private message and we'll take it from there.

This was not specified in the rules, but the purpose is to create a new group/event and help continue supporting the launch of Opera 9.5.

So, the site I mentioned here has to be disqualified after all? I really don't mind. It's more important that rules become clear for everyone

Once added the application adds an Opera badge (profile box) to your face book profile. It adds on to the narrow side so you dont have to worry about crowding your profile page.
Fan pages can add the app too!
