The starting walk of life-was it ever true? Did it ever happen?
The warm sun on a sun darkened back with no thoughts of the serious things of life, just the beauty in the mind of the young.

Those incredible dragonflies all around in the water that is comforting, soothing and
warm on the feet while reaching out for the growing reeds. Did it ever happen?

You walk down the stretch of sidewalk with the stench of the city, the smog burning one’s eye’ and lungs. If your not punctual, will you get that raise this month, so you can surround yourself with just a few more materialistic items?

The walks you once took through the green wet forest with an abundance of trees that go beyond the horizon , the fragrance seducing one not to leave. On the stroll the filtered light cause the shadows to play on the rocks, A little brook running aimlessly towards seemingly nowhere, a course cut by nature an not man. Did it ever happen?

Remember sitting on the riverbank tossing stones across the water? Did it skip once, twice, three or four times?
Did really matter?

The morning work over you rush out onto the street-must hurry to lunch, can’t be late to the office! You see a truck driver unloading on the curb and think, “ poor dummy working like that and me with my important office job, my future with my new briefcase.”

The truck diver looking back an thinking; ”Poor young slob with his already pot-bellied stomach, white flesh and ulcers, his briefcase with a Playboy magazine and a ham on rye sandwich.”

Your walking arm in arm with your best buddy thinking of the fun that you will have together during summer vacation-just beginning-the water at the old swimming place playing on your mind. Softball, picnics, fishing!
Did it ever happen?

Your reading the paper all settled down on the commuter. The same old things, War: (WW11-Korea-VIETNAM-DesertStorm-Afganistan-IRAQ).The Students rioting , murderous slaughter in major cities etc. Etc. Etc. You think,” that’s to bad, but what has it to do with me?”

The rain is coming down as though it will never cease. The smoke of battle still present in the air, the stench of battle is one of gunpowder, death with sweat causing tears.

A young face, blonde hair with glazed lifeless eyes looking towards the sky as if asking God, Why? Why me? Beside him another young man, his buddy, his hand lying across the body of his friend, both in death as in life seeming to reach out to help each other. This young man too is dead. He was young and black and died for a country he was tormented by all his life because of his color!
This did happen!



Brotherhood, tolerance, equality, forgiveness

, all words placed in the dictionary to fill their perspective places, but not used by many or just plain forgotten or not believed.

Your home now, the kids and wife praising you for the battle of life, facing up to the boss, putting old Joe in his place and getting that new raise. So now your thinking,” One more year-maybe new position and who knows-maybe the Assistant Vice President job in five or six years-and look at all that money then!

You are wandering down the beach just ankle deep in the water, pausing ever so often to gaze out over the water and waves forming in the distance. Thoughts of strange and wonderful places run through your mind.. The sun is hot on your body so you dive into the oncoming swell to cool off and then continue your unhindered walk with God.
Did it ever happen?

Did I say God? Why there must be a God. Look at man, the birth of a child and then the never ending thousands galaxy's that are like grapes attached to the stem, these bunches will never be counted or men understand.We can not have the mind of the Creator, we think like mere men.

Well then, can we blame God for death, misery, pain, war, disease and all the other things or situations not palitible to com-
men man? Man has a will.He has knowledge and the ability to overcome any and all of these situations. God has given him these tools like an inheritance just as he gave the breath of life to him after leaving his mother’s womb.

Do not blame God for the failure of, MAN!

Well it has been a very busy January in this new year. See the title above since that is the fun stuff.

I see how many we now have in Opera & all the states,Countries as well as Islands. Like Tobago:cheers:

We can tell by any number of comments when reading through the loaded info in Opera that all is not well in many places!

When you find a comment that you feel shows stress or sorrow introduce yourself & try to show interest and at least say , HELLO!


We all have our problems & loads to carry but so many others carry a multitude of burden"s.

I will still do my little things for friend's & family but I find it amazing how often my mind & thought's are on many of my Opera
