I don't have this experience in Opera but sometimes in Firefox I get black specks after a paragraph return. They act funny too. Sometimes, if I just press enter they go away and other times I have actually seem them disappear on their own - while I'm looking at them they just vanish. This happens a lot when I copy and past text.
