My OperaWindows Media Player Runtime Error

I think there was something wrong with the Opera server. Every time I search Opera forums it returns 0 search results. This also happens when clicking on "today's posts", "new Post", etc... Today there doesn't seem to be a problem - which is good because now I can try searching for an answer to the situation outlined below.
Opera is behaving oddly. When I go to certain sites like here I get a broken media player (see image). If I close the tab I get a runtime error that says
Runtime Error
program files... Opera.exe
abnormal program termination
I have uninstalled and reinstalled WMP 10 and copied the files npdsplay.dll, npwmsdrm.dll, npdrmv2.dll, npds.zip and npdrmv2.zip to the plug-ins folder. Restarted and still get the same error.
Also when trying to view WMV files like here I get gibberish instead of a movie (see image).
If anyone reads this and has a solution you can go to my post here or leave comments. Any ideas are good ideas. I this point I am stuck.
