Sticking with it

OK. So I pissed off for a week. I am back now.
So I am currently in my final year of Masters in Design program at the University of Alberta. The thesis year is tough. So much reading, literature reviews, evaluation, testing and things I haven't discovered I need to do yet. Can you ever have enough information? Anyway, I am investigating e-learning. Specifically training aids for visual communication design students that teaches software applications and design theory conjunctively through designed curriculum. The focus is broad right now. I am looking at learning styles, models of on-line learning, curriculum development, usability testing methods, and design issues regarding interaction design, and interface design. I haven't found any literature that addresses visual design issues and the presentation of the e-learning material. If anyone has information on that topic or any topic pertaining to the design of e-learning materials then please let me know.
