As new year resolutions go, I don't usually bother as I lack the discipline to see them through (as shown by my lack of posts for the past few months!). Nevertheless, I thought that it was a shame to have started this blog and leave it unfinished (hmmm: is a blog ever gets finished I wonder?) Anyway...
I have not been exceptionnally busy BUT my life has changed somewhat with the arrival on November 14th of Sacha: a four-month old birman kitten! He sleeps for about 20 hours and in between his "naps" he's got the energy of 10 young kids! So he drains us of the little energy that we have left after a days work
but hey we don't mind playing with him for one, two or sometimes even three hours straight.... It's at night that it gets slightly annoying (and that is an understatement). But we absolutely adore him!
Also, and this has nothing to do with Sacha, for my forthcoming birthday, I am going to see Dita Von Teese at the Crazy Horse in Paris! As fate would have it she'll be there as the guest star the first two weeks in February, and I am really excited! And believe me I don't usually get excited that often...So I do hope it will be a night to remember (in the good sense of the word of course).
In September last year (strange to be saying that 2008 is last year!) we went on holiday in Italy: Lago di Como for a week and it was good but too short. I will post some pictures very shortly (as well as some of Sacha of course).
