Dita Von Teese at the Crazy Horse
Tuesday, 3. February 2009, 08:41:12
Her first show was on Feb 1. Fully booked of course upon invitations: all the important people in Paris on that night were there to admire her three "tableaux" and they all loved it. Her costumes were designed by Elie Saab, her corsets by the respectable Mr Pearl and the shoes by Mr Louboutin himself of course.
Gosh, imagine a girl coming from a small-town in Michigan, a scrawny child without much to speak for, the middle of three girls, and she ends up shaking hands with the rich and famous of this world (even royals!). As she has often said, she was a millions years away thinking this could ever happen to her! And I can believe her!
Anyhow here is the official picture for the show:
“It is a great pleasure for me to return to the Crazy Horse Paris! I’m very excited to have conceptualized all new acts, incorporating the classic American style burlesque that I’m known for, with the exceptional artistic approach that has made the Crazy Horse Paris a legend since 1951. It’s a thrill and honor to share the stage with the world’s most alluring and talented showgirls. To miss the Crazy Horse Paris is to miss the most sophisticated and celebrated cabaret in the world.” - Dita Von Teese
