We reached to Lake Turkana with a team of wind power plant construction workers after stopping in South Horr for the night in a beautiful arid mountainous area. Next day we got our own free expedition straight into to the desert. The team needed to take some exempals of the soil for constructing a power line through the desert. And so the two 4WD turned a couple of times from the dust road to nowhere.
Lake Turkana is surrounded by volcanos and its environment is very dry. When we approached the Lake, there was literally nothing but volcanic stone fields with the wind blowing very strongly here.
