Kvelden lister seg på tå

, , ,

Kvelden lister seg på tå
Over kløverengen
Himlen har tatt stjerner på
Alle barn skal sove nå
Sove søtt i sengen

Melk og brød fra krus og fat
Er så gode venner
Med en liten trett krabat
Som skal spise aftensmat
Med små melketenner

Og to røde lette sko
Setter vi på matten
Er så slitne begge to
Men nå skal de stå i ro
Hele hele natten

Natten kommer svart og stor
Alle ting blir borte
Seil i mørke lille jord
Med en liten gutt ombord
I sin lille skjorte

I have been using Opera Mini for the past few days, and it has been a surprisingly acceptable experience.
Even on my crummy old phone browsing is fast enough to not be frustrating, and setup was a complete non-issue. 267kb to download. Even AJAX pages kinda work in a dodgy way.

I'm sitting in my bed in my parents' cottage and it has been raining constantly for the past three days. Awesome!

The Strawberry Shortcake game for the DS is pretty good!

Anyway, just a few more days of vacation now, and then back to the glorious misery.

Actually typing long blog posts on a numeric pad kinda sucks, but whatever.

I made a random nick generator for myself.

I literally have no life at all!

No tilte

Been a long time since I wrote anything here, and I've forgotten if anything interesting has happened.

I've played through Alan Wake, which I thought was a great game. It's a tiny bit repetitive at times, and the ending is weak compared to the plot points that have been raised earlier (possibly resolved in DLC?), but yes overall I had a good time playing it. If you're just playing it for the environments I can heartily recommend that as they are thick with atmosphere.

Am currently playing through the new Prince of Pepsi game whose subtitle I can never never remember. It's pretty good, but I am kinda tired of the freeze-water puzzles now as they're all just variations of the same timing challenge. I just got to the area called 'Aqueducts' and saw all the water features and kinda decided to take a break there. I think the game is a bit cheap with the blue orbs. I'll probably (hopefully) finish this one though.

New (not so much anymore) Autechre is fucking awesome.

I (still) need to buy a speaker setup for PC/TV. The old logitechs I've got for the PC now are a bit tinny and the TV speakers crackle whenever there's loud bass.

The back "burner" on my stovetop stopped working for some reason and now I've got to replace it but I fear it is going to be a massive hassle so I'm putting it off as long as I can stand. The people who I bought this place off redid the kitchen with an cooker island, and I have trouble figuring out how they did the wiring and I might have to tear down half a wall to pull out the old stove. I'd like to redo the whole kitchen so I could fit in a dishwasher actually, but, meh, effort.

I'm thinking about buying a netbook. I'm not sure what for to be honest...

Some work on the PBHD

I took and uploaded a few (to be honest rather lame) screenshots of some of the work I did on that PBHD game. (From 2007 to 2008 I think.)

"Happy" "new" "year".

There's something about new years eve that makes me so fucking angry and I don't know what.
Probably all the drunken retards.
