Malaysia's oil production has peaked it seems

Go to part 11 (pg 5) titled "Production" and compare oil production figures for year 2004 and 2005. The last time Malaysia's oil production fell was after the Asian Financial Crisis of 1998. Despite not being in a recession & very high global prices for oil, production figures still declined. Since the decline was 7.0%, this is even worse than ASPO's prediction of 6.4%. Unfortunately, we will only ever know after a number of years of consistent decline. Petronas -RM_Half_Year_Result_FY06.pdf
