About me

Currently sailing around the world on "Mind the Gap", our 47ft Dufour Nautitech catamaran. James and Lorna welcome friends and family for short stays aboard whenever convenient.

Skipper James Wilding
Born and raised in Cape Town South Africa. James was a South African national dinghy sailing champion. James has retired from a career in IT as a senior consultant and project manager.

Navigator Lorna Wilding
James and Lorna emigrated to England in 1984, they have two sons, Charles and Brian. Lorna enjoys art and has developed her own style in watercolours. Lorna's other passion is gardening.

If you are interested in a stay aboard with us we ask all our guests to contribute to running costs such as diesel, petrol, gas, food and mooring expenses.
