Mind the Crocs

Hi All

Anchored up the Chagres River ...about 5 miles up, a good walk to the Gatun locks.Beautiful wide and peaceful river. virgin rainforest . lots of wildlife. take snappy swims off the boat. We had to be real quick because there are some crocs around. We haven't seen any but we have seen toucans, monkeys, iguanas and kingfishers up close.

I hadn't heard about that. Thats a shame

I have heard from frnds in south Florida that animal control was getting a lot of gator calls. Coming in town, grabbing pets and chasing ppl. Most of Floridas
shark attacks occur between Daytona and Ormond Beach.
Tiger sharks too. Big ugly 14-16 footers. I personally witnessed a brown pelican dissappear in one gulp.
