Okay, this is MiNi Me here by the way

I just finished talking to Simon from DNA and have posted an update in the OzF forums but here it is again in case you don't all go there.
DNA have pulled all gaming sponsorships and as such will not be renewing the deal with us, basically we need to find a new home.
I have set up a section for -=AMI=- to use on my Mohaa clan forums pages (which MoFo the dufus should have thought of doing as he is an admin there too!!!!) so just shoot on over to
http://mohaawa.s10.forumsplace.com/index.php register there and I'll drop you into the -=AMI=- user group which will give you access to where you need to have access to.
The forums aint pretty but they're free and pretty quick. For those of you who have a software firewall and want to block the ads on those forum pages, you need to make sure you are blocking java..
Secondly, below is a copy of an email I just received from Simon with regards to getting the server out of the building where it's hosted......they want $$ to get it out, presumably it's to cover their time and effor to unpug 2 cables and bring it out the front for us, but there ya go
Sorry adam i sent an msn message but you might have missed it.
I called PerthIX about removing the server. All we need to do is book a time and we can get it out no problems, however, the charge to do so is $80.
Simon.
And lastly but certainly not least, well done on the flogging you guys dealt out to OzF, almost brings a tear to the eye and a fart to the anus

Well the results are in and everyone is in complete agreeance. GameCreate servers suck more than a Dyson does.
Everyone loads in at match time and everyone gets a differnt version warning from PunkBuster. Most of us are able to update through the game and maintain a connection in the game. 5 or 6 of us are unable to update PunkBuster from within the game and continue to get kicked sp naturally try a manual update by using the PB web thingo. No DICE (OMG a Pun!) OzForces had similar problems but not quite the same in terms of numbers. Only 1 or 2 of them were getting kicked.
Anyway, we grab a ladder manager,he resets the server and we get underway - 55 minutes late. Round 1 is completed with [=OzF=] as US taking the win (54-0 I think) and an immediate restart for Round 2 gets underway with 9 minutes left on the Server booking. At about 180 tickets left for both sides the booking time runs out and the server kicks us all and the game ends. Both parties agree to enter "Match Incomplete" as the result and the ladder Manager on receiving this immediately cancels the match and puts both teams into free status.
A new challenge has arrived from the boys at Forces of Oz so head on over to the
Sign up site and mark your availability.

Well. We have 17 signed on for the match and only 12 of you turned up. Thanks to the guys who did and to the guys that didn't you've let the rest of us down.
The www.performit.com.au/ami site has three selections available to you and if there is any doubt as to your availability on the night you should put yourself down as "unavailable". To accept the match and then go ahead with it to only be able to field 14 for a 16v16 is damn annoying to me as the organiser and shows a disrespect to the others who have made the effort to be there on the night. I'm guessing of those that said they'd be there and weren't will have a mix of good excuses, "I forgots" and "I don't give a fucks" as there reasons.
As a Captain I don't give a fuck what your reasons are. If you've said you're available. Be available. If you're not or there is a chance you're not then mark yourself as unavailable.[/b]
It really is that simple.
Anyway, the results were no surprise to me. BnG are a well drilled team and we are a bunch of skilled players who don't train or work well as a team.
1st Round: BnG 95-0
2nd Round: BnG 103-0

Yes. +SiN+ disputed the result. If you don’t know what happened or can’t see the dispute essay I wrote up then here it is in all its gay glory.
(Strength In Numbers) at 10:55pm 14/5/2006 wrote:OK Ive taken everything into consideration before posting this. I dont believe I am being frivalous but there were several things this evening that we feel unjustly dealt with. I made it clear I was the spokesperson at the start when they did. THe server crashed in the first round with the scores at 113 - 44 with +SiN+ leading. Finally the server came back and we quickly rejoined and was told the round didnt finish so we had to replay it. We lost the round 10 - 0 and the server restarted the map. At this point I dropped out of the game and apparently in the 60 (90?) seconds teams swapped and AMI announced 'Live on Start'. My team half started and the others didnt and chaos reigned. So by the time I realised it had started the round was underway and we were told we had to rush because the booking would run out. Anyway I apologise to AMI for making this dispute but we feel shafted by the way it was dealt with. Apparently some of my players got nasty at the end which I realise isnt on and childish so hopefully AMI doesnt take anything to heart.
(Australian Mobile Infantry) at 11:55pm 14/5/2006 wrote:Please find attached links to all screenshots taken during the match as well as a text file detailing each shot taken.
I have spoken to Inspite firstly in COGS chat and then in the #ign channel of the Internode IRC (transcript below) channel and the point of contention is the issuance of the Round 2 Live command and +SiN+ not being in agreeance to it. Through speaking to Inspite he has told me that he disconnected during the break between end of Round 1 and Round 2.
As the spokesperson for -=AMI=- I found it extremely confusing to deal with multiple text chat comments from various +SiN+ members. This coupled with the +SiN+ spokesperson disconnecting at the end of Round 1 is the issue.
I must say that -=AMI=- did not rush or attempt to rush +SiN+ at any time during the match. We believe we have followed the rules closely and the confusion and subsequently this dispute have come about through a disconnect by the +SiN+ spokesperson. The conduct of -=AMI=- and how it has approached every match is on display in all screenshots.
My email is arbiter@internode.on.net if any further details are required.

Arbiter Here I am
10:50 Inspite Hi
Inspite I guess 60 (90?) seconds to swap sides and start the match was a little short
Arbiter As long as we have concensus on the result whether that is a dispute, win/loss I'm indifferent.
Arbiter Is that your issue?
10:51 Arbiter We issue a 'Live on Start' command. Both teams had swapped.
Arbiter Note I did not say, 'Live on Restart'.
Inspite but as you know there has to be a response and I wasnt there
10:52 Inspite if we dispte how much does it stuff you guys around ?
Arbiter I'm not trying to play semantics mate and given you as the spokesperson had disconnected I guess we need to have a ladder referee / Game Op decide if that is enough to rule the match null & void or not.
10:53 Arbiter It messes with our plans for world domination mate but its only a game.
10:54 Arbiter Especially given the result. If it does goes down that track I will be submitting all screen shots for them to consider. This will include those of your other team members being less than polite.
Arbiter What I'm after is an agreeance by you and me to either dispute the match or an -=AMI=- win of 180-0
Arbiter Its that simple.
10:55 Inspite OK we'll dispute
Arbiter The details are for a Game Op to sort out and I am not THAT interested in discussing them if we dispute.
Arbiter Okay. I will submit a dispute now. Thanks for your time. We won't be making any forum posts about this.

Looks like Sunday has been selected and Strike at Karkand despite 10 to 12 people agreeing on Mashtuur City at the meeting last night (Monday).

Communication breakdown occurred somewhere. (Not surprising given the forums being down). But it appears people are not using the site set up by Ramjet to track numbers for our matches. We as Captains use this when determining what day and map to choose so if no-one has entered their preference and (as it happend) the Captain was not at a meeting and didn't hear what went on this is what happens.
On that point If we have 20 people show up on Sunday night then those at the meeting are in the run on side and those that weren't will be picked or dropped by the Captain in charge of proceedings.
Anyway, this is nothing new. Just reiterating the rules.
Continue to use Ramjet's site to sign up for the match.

Sorry guys,
I've been building a retaining wall all weekend and haven't been online and this site is a blog (poor man's forum) so only the site owner can create messages. What I might do is give you all the password (It's the same as our TS password - i.e. The Goat we have as a team mascot. The username is clan-ami) to the site so each of you can create messages if they're not already here (or I'm away for an extended period). Abuse of this privilege will piss me off (Do NOT mess with site templates or anything else. K?) so if I give the password to everyone don't spam the site with just anything.
It must be important information only. If its NOT I'll be deleting it.Anyway, the match with HSF has been cancelled. As I noted in an earlier post I never received an email so there system was borked for a period by the looks and they just took the easiest option and cancelled the match.

Dr.Nickthanks for the offer guys, but money will not solve this problem. It lies in the DNS which is fux0rd. Sneaky has told me that it will take about 2 weeks to relocate to his server, and then we should be sweet again.
Until then we must make do with what we have, check TS for details about the backup forums that have been made by Arbs and roger, Thanks Fellas .
Sneakythe 2 weeks is because I first have to get some info and some data off Simon. there's a few days. Then I have to get the DNS redelegated to my server, setup hte website and database, then wait for the DNS changes to propogate out to the world.
All this while being in the middle of a major contract transition and puttin in some hell hours.
SO:
It will happen, but it will take time. It's been fucked for weeks, a bit longer won't kill anyone.
Anybody gives me a hard time about how long it takes will feel my wrath AND can do it themselves, M'Kay?

What a n00b. My dirty stinking Opera browser had issues with the frinking adclick site embedded in the GA pages and made me miss the chance to challenge up. We now have to wait for other matches to complete before we get a run.
I have also removed our protected status because it means nothing for us at the moment.

We (or rather I) can't continue to organise anything with the situation as it stands at present. I have created this as an interim solution until our forums get fixed (if they ever do).
All -=AMI=- members please use this site to register availability for friendly's, wars and training. If you've got the ability to read RSS feeds then subscribe to this Blog because it'll get busy.
What you need to do is respond to my post's (Arbiter) by using the comment facility attached to each one. Please ensure, when doing so, that you include your BF2 name because without it I won't know shit. K?
Anyway guys, I am only doing this because its so fricking hard to organise 16 of you under normal circumstances so imagine my frustration with no forums to aid in that?
