When you exercise you should take your body shape into consideration. There are 4 different body shapes:
Banana shape: the upper and lower body are the same size, waist, hips and bust are approximately the same size. There is little inflection at the waist.
Hourglass shape: the upper and lower body are the same size. Hips and bust are approximately the same, waist is much smaller. Curvy shape.
Pear shape: the lower body is larger than the lower body. Waist and bust are approximately the same, hips are much larger. Curvy shape.
Apple shape: the upper body is larger than the lower body. Waist and hip are approximately the same, bust is much larger.
Apple Shape
Apple shapes need to be particularly vigilant, as this shape is thought to be at greater risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and some cancers, due to greater deposits of belly fat. Losing belly fat can help decrease the risk of these medical problems.
Banana Shape
Banana shapes tend to want more shape and need to focus on resistance training to improve their body shape.
Hourglass Shape
Hourglass shapes need to do a lot of cardio to help burn fat and improve proportions.
Pear Shape
Pear shapes need to do upper body resistance training to increase the upper body to balance upper and lower body.
Exercising for your body type helps you not just lose weight, but produces a better outcome, as it improves the proportions of your body.
