Thank you again! It's funny, but I do some of my best work when I'm not trying to do some of my best work ... when my conscious mind doesn't get in the way.
Yes it does make sense, I did some watercolor a long time ago and I found the best ones were the ones that started with "happy accidents". I think the best one was when one of the kids spilled salt on a painting where I had just finished the sky, it was still wet and the salt picked up the paint turning it into a snowfall. I just added more salt and it turned out great!
I did a painting once (a long time ago) with swirls of oil paint and turpentine and such and it was picked to be displayed in the school office (first and only time). Funnily enough, the office burnt down (well ... was deliberately burnt down ... everyone knew who did it, but ... ). I tried to recreate the painting, but couldn't even come close. Oh, well.
