Hmm … ?
Oh … what’s that on the TV, there … ?
Good God … !
‘ … first successful resuscitation of a cryogenically-preserved head!’
My God … what an age we live in!
‘ … not releasing the name of the head until the descendants have been notified … ’
‘ … currently in a nutrient tank … ’
‘ … expected to regain consciousness at any time … ’
‘ … ultimately clone a new body … ’
Amazing!
I wonder if cryogenic preservation is something I should look into … ? What, with the cancer and everything.
Mmm … nah. Bit late now, anyway … already in the hospital …
Although … Miranda mentioned something about that once. Seem to recall she wanted to look into it in case …
… well …
But … nah. Think she’d need my permission, in any event.
Still … maybe I should talk to her about it. I wonder where she …
What’s that … ?
‘ … Nature’s Fist … ’
What a stupid name for a group of terrorists!
Mm-hmm ...
Uh-huh ...
Oh, I don’t believe it.
Bunch of radicals who think reanimating people from cryogenic preservation is against ‘God’s law’, or some such rubbish.
Wait …
‘ … currently attacking the facility where the head is stored … ’
My God, I hope they have guards there, or something!
Probably staffed with a bunch of scientists and doctors. Wouldn’t have expected anything of the kind to …
… hope the head’s okay …
What on Earth is that … ?
Hey … ! This is a hospital … ! Who are …
Wh … why can’t I … talk … ?
God … !
Oh, God … I’ve fallen … !
But … I was lying in a bed, wasn’t I … ?
Can’t … turn around …
Who’s …
… that boot … !
No … ! Don’t stomp on my …
… oh, God …
… I’m the … !

Before you faint at that comment, consider that I'm probably the only Australian who hasn't seen Underbelly, too.
As for Lost, the way I heard it, if you missed the first episode, there was no way to catch up on what was going on (sort of like NCIS, SVU, Etc, if you miss the first five minutes of the episode). Also, I didn't feel like being chained to the TV for yet another multi-part drama (it was enough that I was 'held hostage' by episodes of 24 ... at least for the first season).
The only TV show I absolutely have to see is Doctor Who ... and Heroes, of course (if they ever put it back on ... ).

I had no idea when Heroes was coming back! Is that this coming Wednesday on regular channel 7, or is it only available on 7HD? I only ask because - for some reason - our set-top box can't do the HD channels

I saw the series finale just before I left for Canada, Now I have to wait for the Xmas special for another fix.

Grr. Can't watch Heroes anymore, then. It's relegated to the same status as Smallville (now on Ten HD as opposed to 10). Gotta either get a gruntier set-top box (though I like the one we haveand resent the idea we have to go out and get another just because 'they' decided to change the signals), or buy the DVD series.
Well, we've already got the Smallville series on DVD ...
Mickey,
So long as that genius kid who said Earth was 'never big enough for him' cops it in the neck!
You've gotta wait until Christmas?!
Doctor Who should be once a week all year 'round. They can have multiple people play The Doctor when the other is on holidays, thus giving the fans their 'Who fix!'
But ... only if The Doctors are played by Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant!
Although ...
... apparently Tom Baker has been reported as saying, "Perhaps I might make a guest appearance - perhaps. Providing they ask me nicely, of course".
And this is something I really wanna see!

Gah! Not only are they 'hiatusing', but there's also speculation that David Tennant is leaving! I was just getting used to him after Christopher Eccleston replaced Tom Baker as my favourite doctor! Nrrgh! Gah! Rrrrgh!
And this ... !
As if we're likely to forget! Gah! Gah, I say!

"Sontar Ha!", indeed!

I'll just say that you are really going to enjoy the rest of the episodes. I know I did.
clean # 4. August 2008, 13:25
Sweet!
I was going to ask what episodes you're up to, but you're obviously a bit further along than we are.
Oh, I was over on YouTube and found that Time Crash broadcast! You've probably seen it over there (and the DVD apparently has it on the European version, but not the American - go figure). It's well cool!
Speaking of cool, the second episode of the two-parter I just saw had one of those scenes in it that make me glad I'm a fan!
(Don't worry any non Doctor who fans reading this ... it makes sense).

The rest of them are absolute corkers, you are in for a treat.
BTW, there some backstory around the next episode I think you'd be interested in so let me know when you've seen it.
And thanks for the link to Time Crash.
