Is there a Mrs. Aubrey? Does she know about this? *shakes head, and chuckles*

I just found a hardback edition of the compiled Marvel Secret Wars storyline for £75 yesterday. awww

David Scott Aubrey 13. June 2009, 22:49

Dennis,

Yep, there is a Mrs Aubrey - Dee walked past the study when I was creating 'em and heard me cackling to myself ...

Angeliki,

 I'm far less subtle than you give me credit for ...

You have a great weekend, too!

Sarah,

Cois,

Well ... he doesn't get paid for it! People have gone on strike for less ...

Mik,

Yay! Someone else who liked Secret Wars!

Here's a link to a paperback version ...

Of course, it's not complete without Secret Wars II (sorry, couldn't find anywhere to buy it) and III (III being the Fantastic Four issues that resolved everything, where the Beyonder and Molecule Man find out who they really are ... ).

Santa Furie 14. June 2009, 01:33

Secret Wars volume 2 has the year later episodes and is a further 75 quid. I read these when I was a youngster, slightly before graduating to Transformers.

At least Green Arrow wears gloves! p:

Mik,

Just found something about a Comic Book Reader for mobiles, though not knowing anything about what it can be used on, I don't know if it's something you can use or not. If so (and if you don't have a moral or philosophical difficulty with such a thing, of course), you might like the quid-less option presented via a certain website out there ...

... until such times as you can buy the collected editions, of course.

Rosie,

but who washes them afterwards ... ?

Santa Furie 15. June 2009, 22:18

He sent me to an iPhone site. There's a lot of discussion in the mobile space about comic book readers at the moment. Everyone's kinda caught on to the fact that it's a big missing piece of the market. Unfortunately they're mostly glorified RSS readers, with only a few comics available.

David Scott Aubrey 15. June 2009, 22:24

:frown:

Oops ... I thought they might have had something there that was available for more people that the iPhone folks ... Homer: Doh!

Cois 15. June 2009, 22:28

:left: for a moment I thought you were talking to me p:

Santa Furie 16. June 2009, 01:42

You sent me to an iPhone site too. Full of applications that iPhones can't use for some reason.

Cois 16. June 2009, 18:02

There's plenty of other games *hides head in shame*
