Here's Kylie's latest Photoshop project. She started with a hand-drawn pencil sketch, scanned it into PhotoShop and then eventually cleaned up/colorized it to this state.

I uploaded a several newer Photoshop pieces from Kylie. Some are just experimental, but others really show how her artistic eye and skills are developing. I'll have to have her scan some of the paper sketches she's been putting together lately. Really neat to see.

King of the Skies

Caleb drew this a while back on a Tablet PC that I use from work periodically. He chose the name, "King of the Skies." Note the influences from Yugioh (hair), X-Men (Archangel's metal wings) & Spiderman (Doc Oc's tentacles). I like the lightning from the tentacles . . . nice touch!

Kylie has really blossomed into a talented graphic artist. Here's her first full creation with her main birthday gift from this year: PhotoShop 7.0. She drew the character (love the eyes...) and came up with the background from scratch -- amazing work of a 13 year old!

At this point, she's way beyond me in photoshop skills. I don't even know how she does most of it. She's been a manga artwork fan for a while now and has found some very cool tutorials on the web.

Way to go, K-Rae!
