Prayer Helps
I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord's.
Exodus 9:29
Every year, Breakthrough receives thousands of letters from people who have been touched by God's miracles. There are so many hurting people in today's world, which is why we pray for each person who sends in a request-or even a praise report!
We have received testimonies from people like Cassandra, who received a letter from the IRS stating that she owed them over $4,000. After arguing her case in vain, she prayed for a miracle, asked us to pray for her as well...and a month later, the IRS sent a letter of apology!
We have received stories of healing miracles, financial breakthroughs, and loved ones coming to faith. God is active and working in this world, and will give us our miracle if we pray!
James 5:16 says, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
God has shown us His love and His power; all we have to do is step out in faith to receive it. When like-minded believers come together to pray, miracles happen!
