Logic and Faith
He replied, "Because you have so little faith."
Matthew 17:20
Faith does not come without effort. To be faith-filled you must be in a place where you are growing in God.
Without faith, there are no miracles. There are many times in Scripture when Jesus heals because of a person's faith, or does not heal because of a lack of faith.
Acts 3:16 says, "By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see."
God will often speak an instruction to you that does not make sense. In Joshua 6, the children of Israel were told to march and shout for the walls of Jericho to come tumbling down. In 2 Kings 5, Naaman was told to wash himself in the river Jordan seven times to be cured of leprosy. In John 9, Jesus told the blind man to go and wash himself in the pool of Siloam to be cured from his blindness!
Don't try to wrap your natural understanding around a supernatural word from God. Wrap your faith around it and you will see God's miraculous power at work.
