Damn U Gmail

This just had to happen, doesn't it? Its early in the morning, you've just opened up your browser window to check your Gmail account and *poof* . There's this Huge announcement from Google saying that they have just introduced a new feature called "Gmail Paper" (which, offcourse is/was still in beta) which would allow Gmail account holders to send a paper/physical copy of any of their emails/photos/attachments/mp3s belonging to their own Gmail account to their home address. I was like "Holy *******".The follow-up link saying "Learn More" leads to a page describing the whole process. At first I though this to be a brilliant, legit venture from Google after reading the first few lines which said:

Is it free?
Yes. The cost of postage is offset with the help of relevant, targeted, unobtrusive advertisements, which will appear on the back of your Gmail Paper prints in red, bold, 36 pt Helvetica. No pop-ups, no flashy animations—these are physically impossible in the paper medium

But then I noticed something funny. The pictures of the so called "beta" testers weren't professional enough to be featured in the higher echilions of Google; and when one of those beta testers a Mr Bill K was declared as an " Armchair Futurist ", I knew there was something wrong with this almost fairytale esque offer.
Turns out this was another one of Google's infamous "April Fools" joke. Damn you, G-man (no, not the G-Man from half-life cause he's pretty cool). You should've stuck with the regular "Expose Google CEO's personal space on Google Earth" jokes, not something that would shatter my heart into a thousand pieces.

Although, I must say...the steps illustrated were pretty awesom
