Online party: You crashed the house!
Tuesday, 6. September 2005, 09:05:37

- In 24 hours, more than three million people got their free registration codes
- In 24 hours, half a million people downloaded Opera from our servers (a new all-time high). We expect that our party partner Download.com had a significantly higher download number but we can't confirm an exact figure
- In 24 hours, tens of thousands of people downloaded our employees' music file and the party video
- In 24 hours, we received 250 creative birthday greetings and we'll post our 100 favorites soon!
In the recent wake of Opera's birthday festivities, we would like to present to our community the new my.opera!

I'm a first time user of any blog on the internet. Never really bothered about it! But the features and interface you have provided are quite appreciated and enthralling.
I am a student of Masters of Computer Applications at one of the finest institutions in India. Will surely spread the word here!!
Best Wishes,

I agree with Oromis. AllTheWeb search lets you use lots of different ways of finding what you want, with its Boolean search. You can also specify a certain site to search, or a page title, or a domain, and more. It's a very powerful tool.
On the other hand, it's getting harder and harder to weed out all those unwanted commercial sites, when using Google.

Congratulations for the new community site!
I'm studying Engineering in Argentina, sadly there are not many Opera fans here, however that's about to change. Before I die, I'm planning to write a book, plant a tree, have a child and make an Opera user out of everyone I have the chance to talk to for more than five minutes!!!!! hehehe
GREAT party!
See you around

I really enjoyed the reading conversation with Håkon Lie and would like to see more in the future.
Thank you, Håkon, for CSS and your work with Opera!
