If that wasn't enough already, to ensure that no one is left out, I (FluffyBunny) will be blogging live, along side my good pal and photographer Matt Cox (better known as Coxy), who will be covering the event in pictures.

If there is anything else that we can do to keep you all updated, or indeed if there is any questions or thoughts specifically that you would like us to ask or cover at this event, please send us a private message through the My Opera messaging service and we will do our best to ensure they are acknowledged/ answered

I still think Opera should have an event in Minnesota.

Afterall, we *do* have the Vikings NFL team, and our state tree is the Norway Pine!

That alone makes us pretty much Norway in the US, just ask Berit! How about it Opera?!?!

Minnesota does have the largest population of Norwegians in the US totalling 850,742. This population combined with a team called the Vikings, the state tree being the Norway Pine AND the abundance of Lefse and Lutefisk means that we are a perfect fit for an Opera event.

1)Largest population of Norwegians in the US (wikipedia)
2)Norway, Minnesota
3)Minnesota Opera
4)Minnesota Vikings

6)Berit will get to visit her family
7)Spoonbridge and Cherry is clearly paying homage to the Opera "O" logo... ok, not that clearly. But hey, we see what we want to see!
8)Sons of Norway founded in Minneapolis. Opera- don't you want to visit your own children?
9)(IMO- the most persuasive) Our state tree is the Norway(Red) Pine
10)Two words.... Little Norway

dear scared coxy ...I hope you aren't alone in your scaredy feeling.

There's no sense in me wearing spandex with a lightning bolt on my chest if it frightens just one person. Dressing up and having awesome powers an stuff isn't something I do just to scare the ducks.
