A Nintendo Wii AND Guitar Hero III!?
Oh yes! The Nintendo Wii is a great device, and has been sold out at stores around the globe for a year! Guitar Hero III has commanded a lot of respect over the home entertainment market.
It's a game you will love, just like us here at Opera! 
OMG, Two Guitars!?
Well, we always enjoy hosting competitions. In fact we like to compete so much that we're giving away two guitars (so you can play with a friend)! All you have to do to win this grand prize is:
- Make a killer Opera Widget!
In the past, we've had many people developing Widgets and our Widgets repository hosts over a thousand of them (check them out for inspiration)! Think of Widgets you use on your Mobile phone or something you would like to use on your TV... Imagine a world of desktop applications made using Open Web Standards. What would you like to do today, online or offline? Well, it's up to you!
T-Shirts Every Week!
The Giving season has begun and we are even extending it to two t-shirts every week to the best Widgets for the previous week. When we reward our users, we like to go all out.
Bonus points will be awarded for Widgets that have a local aspect, e.g. Widgets that have more value for someone living in a particular city. A good example are the existing widgets offering public transportation information for Oslo.
Deadlines
All Widgets uploaded between December 20th 2007 and February 3rd 2008 will be judged based on the following criterias:
- Coolness (graphics, look and feel, etc.),
- Observe its usefulness,
- Thouroughly investigate the code quality,
- Count download numbers,
- and finally look out for innovative developers.
The winner will be announced before February 8th.

I imagine this is just the Wii version of the game - which was advertised as supporting Dolby Pro Logic II. Users have reported that the game outputs in neither Pro Logic II nor stereo... but is actually only mono sound.
Activision aren't 'recalling' it, but will offer free replacement remastered game disks that correct this issue in early 2008.
