Opera Backstage Tokyo

The event took place last week (April 10th) and around 50 participants turned up for the first backstage event ever hosted in Tokyo, Japan.

Our series of backstage events are promotional events, which have with great success taken place in UK, Russia, Poland, and Singapore before.

We had three speakers at this event, including Tatsuki Tomita (SVP, Consumer Products, Opera Software) who gave a presentation about our products, Mike Smith from W3C who shed some light on new Web standards and Opera, and Andreas Bovens (Web Evangelist, Opera Software) who gave an introduction to Desktop 9.5 Kestrel.
